IN SEARCH OF THE BEST - O'Reilly's Pub

O'Reilly's Pub in Maplewood, New Jersey claims to have the best wings in NJ. According to the menu, Their wings were voted "NJ's Best" by the Star Ledger's "Munchmobile". ABCs would like to strongly dissagree. We tried their traditional hot wings. They leave a lot to be desired, not much sauce, dry meat, and definately not spicy. Dissatisfied, we also tried their "barbeque chipotle" wings (which are not listed on the menu). These had better flavor, but still not spicy enough. The same same dry wings, wth pepper and duck sauce. Sounds crude, but thats the closest thing to what they tasted like. The wings needed more sauce, more moisture inside the meat, and spice that kicked. For these shortcomings Orielly's has been penalized and the "Munchmobile" has lost credibility.
O'Reilly's Pub wing rating: 5
